The C4C Resource Wiki

It's our vision to resource you with all the tools you'll need to win people to Jesus Christ, build them in their faith, and to send them out to win, build, and send others.

What is Campus for Christ

Campus for Christ, Canada exists to glorify God by making a maximum contribution toward helping to fulfill the great commission in Canada and around the world by developing movements of evangelism and discipleship. "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..." (Matthew 28:19-20). Since 1951, when Bill Bright was inspired by God to found Campus Crusade for Christ, now Campus for Christ, our mission has remained constant - to obey Jesus' final command to his followers.

In the past five decades, this vision has spawned various ministries that have forged new ways to spread the gospel message, build people in faith and send people out to be God’s witnesses. Our work has also strengthened ties with churches, organizations and individuals for one common purpose. To take Jesus to the world

Statement of faith

The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's inerrant written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without factual error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

We accept those large areas of doctrinal teaching on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians. Because of the specialized calling of our movement, we desire to allow for freedom of conviction on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible alone, and that no such interpretation shall become an issue which hinders the ministry to which God has called us. We explicitly affirm our belief in basic Bible teachings on this page.
