On our campuses in Canada, we desire to give every student, every year the opportunity to have multiple, relevant chances to hear the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to do that effectively, we will need to tailor specific strategies to reach out to students of various unique mindsets, backgrounds, programs, residences and affinity groups.

That is why we encourage you to take the challenge to reach a Movement Development Area (MDA). An MDA is any specific group you try to reach on your campus. An MDA is much more than a single event—but an effective event can move your MDA forward. If you want to reach an MDA, but need some help with the funds, please fill out the application below. If there are no outstanding questions that come up, you should hear within two weeks if your funding is approved. The maximum available to any one MDA outreach is $250. The amount you receive will depend on factors like cost, feasibility, creativity and local accountability.

The goal of an MDA is to be an ongoing presence and movement within your focus group. But for the purpose of this funding application, please relate this to one specific event in your MDA.

  • Before you do a lot of work on your MDA, check out our MDA pages on this site to see what has already been done for your area. (sample posters, comment cards, etc. are available)
